I think that it’s so important to have insurance. What types of insurance are important? Well, they all are! Renter’s, home owners, car, life, travel insurance, you name it, it’s probably just as important. There have been a few instances when it’s been good to have insurance.
When we had that small flood, we had a few things damaged and our insurance company reimbursed us for the damages. I know when my mom’s car was flooded out, her insurance company gave her money to replace it because she had car insurance. When my brother’s apartment burned down many years ago, his insurance company gave him money to replace everything he lost just because he had home insurance. It’s to your advantage to have insurance. Think about if you get into a car wreck. You’ll be wishing you had it!
Take your time and look around for the best quote. Think about your current circumstances. We are military so we have an insurance company that caters to the military and moving internationally. If you are staying where you currently live, find the best place with the best deal for you. There are lots of things to look at so take your time, but be sure to get it all covered. You never know what will happen!
