Random Thoughts by Pam

So I hope that you had a really good V-Day filled with lots of love! We spent the day together as a family and it was nice. I actually found some matching shirts for the girls so they dressed alike. We went to Lone Star for lunch (it’s an awesome steak place) and then went to the Quartermaster museum on post. They kids really enjoyed that! We then came home and played video games. It was nice!

So, since I’m a crafty lady, I wanted to make something for my kids for V-Day this year. I wasn’t sure what to make them, I hadn’t been feeling well for several days (hence hardly any posts!) so I had to think quick. While at Wal-Mart, I found these pillow making kits on clearance for $5 so I scooped those up for the girls. Got one High School Musical and two Hannah Montanas. Then since Jonathan is so into Mickey Mouse right now, I made him his very own ears! They were super simple to make and I’ll be posting the pattern soon. The girls loved the pillows and Jonathan is enjoying the ears.

So we’ve just been keeping busy. Like I said, I wasn’t feeling well for several days which never helps. I just kept doing what I absolutely had to do and if I didn’t really need to do it, I didn’t! LOL! But I’m better now and I have several things to post that I’ve made. Oh and if you haven’t been checking out my other crafting blog, please do!
