Okay, we’ve had several things going on lately requiring me to make some bags and other gifts. Mostly teacher gifts, which I’ll have more of next week! Yikes! I made a bag for two of Kathryn’s teachers and one bag for each of Deanna and Megan’s teachers. I made two one day and two another. This post will have Kathryn’s teacher’s bags in it.
I’m not sure if you can see them, but I quilted the bags with their initial on the front. One has a ‘K’ on it and the other has an ‘A’ on the front. The back of the bags are quilted as well. I used ribbon for the handles and both are lined. Kathryn picked out the fabric and I think she did an awesome job!
These bags went pretty quick except for the quilting! I did it randomly except for the letters which I did over and over again since I don’t have an embroidery machine. (hint, hint!!) But it was lots of fun! The quilting is an easy way of helping the batting inside the bag stay put!
